Q: I have heard when heat is applied, the markings disappear. But if the item gets cold, the markings can come back?

A: You'd actually have to freeze your fabric, to have the lines reappear. Only in extreme cases could this happen, but yes then the lines would come back. Solution: handwash them out and DONE! Now they will NEVER come back again. :-)
